Welcome to Southside Medical Centre
Our Practice is situated in Southside Town Centre in premises that include 13 consulting rooms, 6 treatment rooms, office space, 3 waiting areas.
The doctors provide a comprehensive range of family medical services and have special interests including Asthma, Diabetes, Health assessments, Chronic Disease Care Plans, Travel vaccination.
*Urgent medical conditions will always be seen as a priority. **Our Reception Staff will attempt to contact you if there is any unforeseen delay or your Doctor has been called away. ^If booking online, please choose the Long Appointment option. Please call 07 5315 4622 if you are running late. If you booked online, you can cancel online. Not notifying us of your for non-attendance incurs a Did Not Attend ( fee of $50.00)

FEES AND BILLING ARRANGEMENTS
Southside Medical Centre is a
Medicare Bulk Billing Practice.
Our Medicare Bulk Billing Practice bulk bills eligible GP Services, including:
- GP Consultations,
- Chronic condition management plans and reviews,
- Mental health treatment plans,
- Health assessments
Fees may apply for non-eligible services, including:
- Procedures like skin excisions,
- Diagnostic services like ECG and pathology,
- Allied health and other non-GP services,
- Non-MBS services,
- Patients without a Medicare number.
We accept cash, cheque, EFTPOS, MasterCard, Visa.

OVER 75 YEAR OLD HEALTH ASSESSMENT
Book an appointment for your over 75 year old Health Assessment
Our Practice Nurses will continually be performing annual comprehensive health checks for eligible patients.
At this health check the nurse will assess your overall health including your current medications. Please allow 1 hour for this assessment.
All results and any follow up will be done by your doctor.
The assessment will be bulk billed through Medicare, so please bring your Medicare card with you to your appointment.
Should you wish to attend this annual health check, please contact our reception at the Southside Medical Centre on 07 5315 4622 between 8:30am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday to make an appointment.
We feel that the health check is important to your continuing care and hope to hear from you in the near future.
